Biomass refers to plant matter that can be processed into various industrial materials, including biofuel. The most common form of biofuel produced from biomass today is ethanol made from corn and sugar cane. However corn and sugar cane represent only a small fraction of the biomass, and thus a small fraction of the energy potential of the plant. The other big problem with corn and sugar cane is that they are used as vital food supplies and feedstock.

WHY ARE WE USING OUR FOOD TO RUN OUR CARS?

Until recently the rest of the plant was considered waste material PGG is pioneering uses of waste biomass to benefit the population. Our patented process converts agricultural waste biomass into cellulosic ethanol. This will provide two significant and immediate benefits: 1- mixing cellulosic ethanol into our gasoline helps it to burn cleaner and greatly reduces greenhouse gas emissions, 2- every gallon of ethanol converted from waste biomass replaces ¾ of a gallon of gasoline from imported oil. This will help heal the planet and reduce our dependancy of foreign oil.

Today thousands of farmers have agricultural waste they can't get rid of or is costly for them to eliminate.
We have a solution that will help the farmers and help the planet

Just look about you. We did. And we discovered a bountiful supply of energy growing in the sunshine all year round. We especially noticed that much of the waste was created when our agricultural producers grew our daily foods. Take rice as an example...

When the rice farmer grows an acre of rice he gets about 8000 pounds of rice and 5000 pounds of rice straw. Most of the rice straw has no commercial value. Worthless waste rice straw is not the case with PGG. We have the technology to take an acre of waste rice straw and turn it  into,

313 gallons of cellulosic ethanol
900 pounds of high quality silica
Lignin a by-product we can convert to energy used by our refinery

This technology will generate more than $890 of revenue from an acre of waste rice straw. With our system, waste is actually a solution to our energy problem.

Thanks for your interest. You'll be seeing a lot more of Pan Gen Global in the future.
